NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
This course provides the specialist knowledge and understanding, combined with the application of the expertise required to undertake a career as a Safety and Health Practitioner.
You can read the full syllabus here.
The course is being delivered by OSHE Consultants in Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and the USA, for aspiring health and safety professionals building directly upon the foundation of knowledge provided by the NEBOSH International General Certificate.
Successful completion of the course provides a sound basis for progression to an MSc or more specialist study (such as the NEBOSH Specialist Diploma in Environmental Management).
Holders of the NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety may use the designatory letters “IDipNEBOSH” after their name.
In addition, you may apply for graduate membership (Grad IOSH) of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), which is the first step to becoming a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner as a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH).
This qualification is also accepted by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (www.iirsm.org) as meeting their requirements for full membership (MIIRSM).
The blended learning course approach includes both an online learning element with course material, excercises and tutorial support, and a two (2) day classroom review and revision of the required knowledge and understanding in preparation for the formal exam.
You can start the course at anytime and you'll receive support and guidance from your online tutor as you progress through the learning activities.
Candidates will need to have registered for the exams two months prior to an examination.
